Aldryl lotion is an antiperspirant lotion formulated with aluminium chlorohydrate which when applied locally, effectively controls excessive perspiration. Aluminium is an active ingredient in antiperspirants because of its ability to reduce the production of sweat. This forms temporary gel plugs at the most upper part of your sweat pores. Thus, less sweat is released. And through friction and the natural skin renewing process these plugs are removed over time. Aluminium salts also help to reduce the number of bacteria that cause the smell associated with sweat.

You should consult your doctor about the use of antiperspirant if you suffer from kidney disease, because the kidneys play an important role in eliminating aluminum from the body. Begin with one application every night and once the perspiration is controlled reduce to twice a week or less.
